  1. Well done on your CD recommendations! However here is an update: Your recommendation for Isaac Stern's "Ave Maria" from the CD "Isaac Stern Presents Encores With Orchestra" has a playtime of 5:45. Playtime from the LP is 4:41. The Isaac Stern album from 7Digital.com "None But The Lonely Heart - Isaac Stern Plays Great Violin Favorites" has a playtime of 4:44 and is an exact match to the LP version when you remove the intro and outro silence from the track.

    1. Thanks for the heads up! Thanks to your comment, I researched and discovered the 'Lonely Heart' album was released on CD but with additional tracks and using the album title "Humoresque - Favourite Violin Encores." I will get this page updated. I am always grateful when folks can make corrections and updates to this.
